Clíona founded Psyched in 2009. Prior to this, Clíona spent over eight years working with Pearn Kandola Business Psychologists. Throughout this time she travelled extensively in Europe, the US, Asia and Australia working with clients to design and deliver bespoke talent management solutions. Before this, she spent three very interesting years working with the BBC in London managing a team of Occupational Psychologists specialising in assessment, development and training.
Clíona was a member of the Irish National Swim Team for 8 years and during that time travelled extensively in the US, Europe and Australia representing Ireland. She held numerous national records and captained Irish swim teams. It was during that time that her interest in Psychology developed, in particular how mastering the mental side of performance can give someone the edge. This has translated into her present work in coaching and leadership development and she has successfully used techniques from sports psychology and other disciplines to help individuals achieve their personal and business goals.
She is particularly passionate about engaging people to deliver performance and reach their true potential and uses the latest thinking in positive psychology and mental toughness to help do this.

Psyched has a network of highly qualified and experienced associates throughout Ireland and the UK which we draw on depending on the nature and scale of the assignment. For more information please contact us.
Psyched is a founding partner of The Soar Foundation. Soar is a non-for-profit organisation and believes that every young person should have the opportunity to fulfill their potential and have the self-belief to discover and follow their dream.
Soar creates and delivers preventative programs for young people, where within a safe and supportive environment, they are given the opportunity to share and learn, to set goals, to build self-confidence, self-belief and emotional awareness. The promotion of the well-being of all Irish young people is their passion. Soar was inspired by The REACH Foundation started by the late Jim Stynes in Melbourne, Australia.
We are delighted to partner with Soar so early in the journey. Our support, along with that of the other founding partners, will enable Soar to develop and deliver their programs to schools. We are really excited to be involved with this amazing initiative. Soar was a winner of the Social Entrepreneurs Impact Award 2012.
