Coaching for Performance

Good coaching can help develop talent, support organisational change initiatives and improve personal performance. Coaching for performance is core to all of the work we do and we believe is an ongoing process. Ongoing in the sense that we provide the initial coaching support and then work with the individual to create ongoing coaching supports in their own environment - be that with an internal coach or line manager or through the development of self-coaching skills.

Throughout the process we:

  • Create a confidential environment where individuals feel supported
  • Establish appropriate goals and a realistic, agreed process to achieve and evaluate them
  • Support high performance with a balance of high challenge and high support
  • Encourage individuals to recognise the answers they have within themselves and challenge self-limitingĀ beliefs that may hinder performance
  • Work towards a tailored action plan that links to both personal and professional goals
  • Use psychometric profiling tools to generate self-awareness and capitalise on key strengths.

Many organisations are now using executive coaching to give focused, individual development, support and challenge to its talented people. Examples of situations when individuals need coaching include:
